Yes--I am still Quilting!

Yes!!!
I am still quilting, sewing, farming, and alive!
Sometimes you just need a break to take care of important family matters.
Next month will be the anniversary of my dear Father-in-law's death.
We were so blessed to have him with us for such a long time.
He has been such an inspiration to me personally and I miss him.

He worked hard, served his country, and took great care of family.
My family has experienced some other losses of family members that we deeply miss, but time goes on and God is in control.

It's below zero outside, but the farm work isn't done.
Now the office work on taxes has been in progress and planning spring planting is top priority.
Winter is also a time to reflect on all the blessings and crazy things that have happened last year.
One example is our combine break one sunny afternoon after I dropped off Dean for an afternoon of combining.  I wasn't home for 10 minutes and I received a call that the combine exploded!

What a mess, but we were only down for a short time.

Now the best is saved for last!
My friend, Connie, needed some help finishing her quilt and she asked me!
Her angels needed a little bit of quilting so I decided to add some feathers to their wings and I am so happy with the results!

Happy Quilting!
