November Friday Night Sew In

I spent my Friday night Free Motion Quilting a lap quilt for several hours.  The type of quilting I do doesn't happen overnight, but the results are worth it.  I hope to finish in time for Christmas.

We had some really grey skies earlier this week and also a tornado watch.
Life has been busy at our house with the holidays just around the corner.
Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Quilting!

That is a beautiful design, and the time you worked on it is evident! What a great way to use Friday Night Sew-In.

Lovely feathers! we don't have tornados here but from what I have seen on TV is frightening - take care.

I really like how your feathers just flow so organically into the space where there's curved piecing. It looks very natural. Speaking of nature, that second photo is very cool. I love the drama and color of the sky.

Your FMQ is beautiful. Someday I hope to be able to quilt like that. Great FNSI result.
